The Neuroscience of Morality (Online Only)

July 11, 2020 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free
Brain Basics 07112020

Put on your neurophilosophy hats for this one! In this session, we will explore the weird world of human (and non-human) morality.

Why?regardless of culture or time period?is incest so inherently repulsive? Why is a spot of poop on the arm more gross to most people than a spot of blood? Why do we experience a stronger emotional reaction to a single story of a person experiencing violence than we do to fifty million cases of violence?

Come discover both the strengths and weaknesses in human morality, and what we can do to be more conscientious, moral beings.

Please register on Meetup to receive the meeting code.

Each session includes time for questions. All sessions are free. I look forward to seeing you!
